I can't speak to the TP refurb quality directly, but the last Mogul refurb I recieved was really bad. There's no way it sould have p***** a reasonable inspection. It could be that they're passing any piece of junk on for a discontinued item, or they are using the Gamestop method of refurbishment. If it turns on, it's good to go.

oh wow...thats f'd up...Asurion sent me a brand new one, fresh, in the box, with all the accessories. What exactly was your reason for sending your original phone back in?

Yupp, me to. I shattered the screen, and got a new in box, all accesories, replacement for 50. Kinda made me happy, since my original was a used one from ebay in not so perfect condition.
