Re: Will QVGA applications and today plugins work...
I ran some QVGA programs on my Diamond and they ran really slow and the icons are blocky and are not super clear quality like the VGA icons.
What apps and today plugins are you looking at? Most apps have a VGA and QVGA version.

The only QVGA plugin I'm using is the voicemail plugin. For the most part, it's probably best to get VGA versions of what you want. On that note, is there a VGA version of the Voicemail plugin?

there is really alot of hit or miss involved, some apps will resize, some wont launch at all, and some will just display quarter of the screen, gotta just test the ones you want

Re: Will QVGA applications and today plugins work...
Is the HTC Home plugin that you have in that list VGA? If not, check out the thread I have linked in my sig.
Also, you may have issues with Vista Hide Battery Gauge. It caused massive slowdown when I was using the hardware keyboard to type. I didn't really notice the issue when I switched to DCI Battery Meter. DCI: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...3&d=1235777495 It works the same way as Vista Hide, it's an exe that you run on your phone. Last edited by banzaiwolfe; 04-02-2009 at 12:30 AM. |
