My Touch Pro Keyboard

I've recently been having some serious issues with my keyboard. When I press keys some go unrecognized. Other times it will not recognize I am pressing the keyboard at all. Once I soft reset it works ok for a short period of time and then starts pressing the same key multiple times. Then the process begins again. I've changed ROMS just to see if it was that but to no avail. It didnt do it when I had the KK 1.8. I switched to Mighty Rom 1.14 and it began. I switched back to KK 1.8 but this issue has followed me.

Re: My Touch Pro Keyboard

There's plenty of talk all over this touch pro forum about this. Sounds like your keyboard is going bad. You'll just have to get a replacement through your carrier.

What razor said.

Just search. I searched for the last person who brought up this issue and found like 8-10 other threads with people having the same issue as you.

I read this around here and there was a thread from an actual tech from sprint. He posted a diagram that shows the cable connections inside to pro being loose and that is what it causes this problem and there is a simple fix just by using a screw driver used for your sunglass. Is either this or spend two hours at the store for them to fix it for you. I found the link here you go and read the post too it might help. This was posted by "thepoet" one of the sprint techs.

Yea...that looks like the fix for this problem, but you have to remove the warranty void sticker to do it, so you'd be giving up your 1 year warranty.
