Getting Rid of The X-Button

Never heard of this, don't know if it exists, but is there an app out there gets rid of the X button that apps have in the top right corner? I have no use for it now that I use WKTask, and all it does is get in the way? Anyone know of something like this?

Re: Getting Rid of The X-Button

Are you talking about the HTC task manager? If so go to start->settings->system tab->task manager/ x-button->Button Tab->uncheck both options listed (thats what I did, I think thats how you remove it, i dont have it in the current ROM i'm running)->ok. Hope this helps.

Re: Getting Rid of The X-Button

I don't think you can get rid of it. You could possibly hide it by copying your shellres.192.dll.0409 file to your desktop and using reshacker to extract the
icon, and then use paint or photoshop to blank it out.

Re: Getting Rid of The X-Button

It would be nice to give wktask more space for tabs. But WM would need to understand to move it's set of status icons over, which is unlikely.
