Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
I "flash" around with alot of the different roms that are out. I look for memory and speed. I like RSTG's rom's, Merdin's and Mighty's rom's. I finally got the nerve to try my own using GC's latest kitchen with what it had supplied plus a few cabs I have saved. My rom has 341.72 MB storage and 216.55 MB for Programs at boot up. After installing what I like (and thats alot) I have 258.00 MB storage and 120.22 MB left. I use radio 1.11. So far everything responds smooth and stable.

Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
MightyROM by far. Very fast and stable. Usually you don't get the two together, but you do in this ROM. He is very quick to address issues and combine that with Lil Rico you get a great looking ROM.=D>

Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
Another Mighty Rom guy here...
I've tried a few and cooked a few with kitchens and Mighty's rom is still the most stable one to date not to mention the power settings in that rom really do wonders for the battery life! I disable MC VoiceCommand though as I want the extra memory. |

Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
I like mine, Cause I built it the way I wanted (:
It's pretty light hardly having any programs in the ROM. The OEMs and drivers were chosen by trial and error to be 100% stable, although they may be older. SYS is "unusual" since it's not the "latest and greatest" but from a leaked AT&T ROM. There's something about having a "released" SYS that makes me feel better about it. Link is in my Sig.

Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
I'm using Mighty's 4.12 Rom, so far I've had no complaints, and seen no bugs, that combined with the custom themes makes it great. I was using Dream's roms for awhile but ever since his hard drive crash he hasn't made any updates.

Re: Your favorite ROM and why?
Merdin's ROM 3.8! It's fast, stable, definitely enough battery for one day with heavy usage.
I liked yay for juggs, but it would cause problems with my SPB Insight. Ring notifications would cease to work once it was installed. KK's Loaded Rom is awesome, but I had problems with battery life. But I loved having the touch pro loaded with apps. Juicy and Mighty were also great, but I thought visually, Merdin's Blue rom was smooth and classy. I also tried a couple WinMo 6.5 ROMs because I was curious, but they still need a little work, I think we need a better more stable build from Microsoft. Hope that helps. |
