Re: Attachments in messaging problem
All you have to do is use your stylus, hold down on the file name and you'll get the option to "save" then you can save it to your phone and click on it to install.... what happens in the email window is when you "select" it the mail software thinks you're 'installing'.... so hold the stylus down, save to phone option comes up and you can save hten install....

Re: Attachments in messaging problem
theres no settings in the phone for for security of files in email options... not sure why it didnt work..
its because the cab isnt saved ON your phone yet im guessing, it has to be moved to either sd or internal memory...cant install something that isnt on ur phone yet...

Re: Attachments in messaging problem
Which is true..but infact, if you click on that file before its saved to phone the message that pops up in the email app is that the file is potentially dangerous and thus won't be installed.....

Re: Attachments in messaging problem
Thanks guys. I kind of feel like a dolt but hey...now I know. I simply held the stylus on the attachment for a second and it let me save it. Was the cab worth it? Naw..but at least I am now aware..
