Re: state caller id??

The TP will only show the state when you are dialing a number, not when you have an incoming call.

The only app that shows the state (and city) for incoming calls is one I wrote called LocateCaller

I've attached the CAB here. Change "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled" to 0, install the CAB, and soft-reset.

You might be mistaken never showed up on my TP and I'm running the stock rom with sprint too...there is a fix for it but you kinda have to jump thru hoops to do so and have to download another dialer not able to do it on the stock one hope this helps

Re: state caller id??

I believe with our stock dialer, that it is unable to show which state you are calling by using the area code. All the reg edit does is turn off the HTC Dialer and reverts back to the stock WinMo one, I believe.
