4 Rings When Receiving MMS

Yea... My phone rings 4 times [3 of those times are within 2 seconds so my tone can't even play through, and once more about 10 seconds later] whenever I get a new picture message. I checked the thread for picture mail but nothing was there... Ideas?

Are you using Arcsoft?
If so, have you checked to make sure that all of the ringtones for mms are unchecked, it has a tone for new, downloading, downloaded, report ect....
settings>sounds and notifications>notifications>events

I know its basic, but just a start...

I'm just using the Sprint Picture Mail app. It was downloading for a minute because it lit up, then rang 4 times in a short time.

I notice happening it on my as well but I think its when I receive a MMS with multiple fwd attached to it. Check next time if your messages have fwd's attached to them and maybe the issue is related.
