Battery Life

Ive charged my battery full and it only last about 4hours ive disabled like all the connections wifi, blue tooth etc.

join the club, this has been covered to death.do a search, tons of threads on this. 4 hrs of doing anything, or phone just sitting there? theres also a stickey on this also.

So your saying nothing can fix this? If so this phone isnt usable for me.

I just got a replacement battery from my local sprint store and noticed that the part # on new battery is different from the old one. I wonder if they changed something about the battery? So far it's doing way better than the old one, but I've only had it for a week.

If this is the case, then my theroy about bad batteries OR not fully compatible batteries might just be true.

Can you give us the number on your battery? That might help things along with getting replacements.

ah because im running a custom ROM and it still hasn't fixed my battery issue should i just go to a sprint store get a replacement battery?

The battery life tends to get better after you "break it in." That usually takes a few weeks so you may want to hold off on getting a replacement.

There are a ton of threads about this issue already. Search around and you'll see what I mean.

You could always get an extended battery as well. I think Seido has released a 2000mAH battery + cover.

I dont understand why the battery would get better what does this mean the battery should atleast last 5+ hours. Without any other connections. I think its been 2 and 1/2 hours and its already like 50%
