Assist GPS mods from Diamond, is it necessary on Sprint TP?

Out of the box, my Sprint TP locks in 10 to 20 seconds indoor.

Under HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS, there is the EnablePDEIPFromNV=1 entry and that is all.

This thread contains .cabs that add AGPS entries under the above key, but is it really necessary along with NVM/QPST mods?? I did it on my Diamond and there appears to be no harmful side effects.

All the A.GPS threads I see in the TP forum seems to be for the crippled Verizon phones.

The Enable...from NV seems to suggest that A.GPS is enabled in NV RAM and directs the use of that information.
