Taking pictures indoor and out at night - Good?
Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an all in one device. My current plan with sprint is pretty good. I have 6 megapixal camera but don't feel like carrying it as well.

I take pictures indoors and sometimes inside a night club or bar. How is the quality of the pictures on the HTC Touch Pro? Flash?

3 MP is more than enough - I don't crop or edit. Can it take pictures outside at night in a city?

thanks. I went through that thread and couldn't really find one inside of a bar or club. or even in a darker room.

The outdoor ones came in alright.

Just a quick comment, the TP camera is virtually useless in a dark environment.

I was at an indoor badly lit party last weekend & forgot to take my pocket size Canon SD100IS with me & figured I would fill in with the TP camera. To say the pictures sucked would be an understatement.........

Yeah, I totally agree. That's the main reason I picked up my Canon SD870IS (well and so I don't have to carry around my 40D). I can easily fit it in my pocket (even with a neoprene case for protection) and not have to worry about if the pics are going to look good when I transfer them to my computer).

I cannot say the TP performs very well in low light conditions. The shutter stays open longer to take in more light which means you've got a blurry picture.
