Tethering Hardware

Is there a way to use the TP's bluetooth as an adapter for my laptop sort of like you could do with the GPS of the Titan?

Re: Tethering Hardware

Of course... just look for wmrouter (the old free versions) and that will make ur phone an ad-hoc thingy and allow you to connect to ur laptop wireless (sorry for the bad definition i personally have never used it)

Re: Tethering Hardware

I have used wmwifirouter in the past and that does not allow tethering of the bluetooth. What i want to be able to do is plug my phone in and have my laptop use it as a bluetooth adapter.

Re: Tethering Hardware

Why not do it through usb then? To my knowledge, BT will lower your speed. Any who, Hibby's 1.7 Rom seems to have a program to do this, its called wireless modem. Havent tried it but has a BT option.

Re: Tethering Hardware

It seems to me that the OP wants to plug the TP to his PC, and then connect his PC (that doesnt have bt capability) to some unknown BT device, not the internet...is that correct SOS? logic says it is possible but needs some searching....could be wrong , please clarify.

This is exactly what I want to do. Thank you for hopefully making it a little clearer.
