Not Splash screen but the one after that

how do i get this gif image to my touch pro boot up screen. Its not the splash screen . I tried Advanced Config and through HKLM editing but didn't work. this boot screen is nice any ideas. http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/show...hlight=testers
the htc logo screen is a gif boot image

are you talking about the windows mobile 6.1 screen? then you just need to name it a specific name .png and then replace it in your windows directory with total commander or similar program.

i forgot the exact name of the file, someone can chime in and tell you, im sure. something like welcomehead.192.png or something.

on the HTC Touch is welcomehead.96.png but you will need a file exploer like Resco to change it....or somebody to make a .cab installer for you.
