Re: memory card transfer rate benchmark!

16.99 for 8gig is hardly a waste.

I spent 23 bucks for 4 gigs at circuitcity lol. I hate waiting.

Re: memory card transfer rate benchmark!

Re: memory card transfer rate benchmark!

what brand was the 8gb? I have heard of problems with many cards and planned to go sandisk myself, though if there isnt really much difference with classes....i will save money for a lower class

do you suppose it could be like car audio and some companies are exagerating the class speeds?

Re: memory card transfer rate benchmark!

I ordered a Transcend 8gb Microsdhc Class 6 from newegg last week, received the order on monday and immediately uploaded Zac and Miri make a porno. The movie was fine so I then decided to upload unto the card Lord of the Ring. The movie was very slow but the audio sounded fine. I messed around with some TCMP settings like the AV+- but the video was too slow. Was it the card or was it the video file?

p.s. the video file was a divx and it was 800mb. 720X480.

if i trolled this topic, my bads!

try 320x240 it will play way better.... and as far as the cad read speed, i dont think that the phones processer can read that fast try using the same test to a card reader and see if that makes a difference
