Re: Program files on Micro SD card
You can't do that unless you add the registry entries to the main unit. If you have the previous backup, chances are they already there and you can just dump the registry and send back the ones that is required. Certain apps may be using hidden location to store the activation info or using the machine ID as registration and in that case you better re-install and/or call them to update the information.

Re: Program files on Micro SD card
It is based on how the apps is packaged. In most of the case installer gives you two choices, phone or card for the location, but the exact path (folders) at those two location is hard coded in the cab packaging file. Most of the time it is in "Program Files" folder but occasionally outside of it and sometimes a small portion even in the \Windows folder if auto start is needed.

Re: Program files on Micro SD card
Well, if you can run the program from the card, and it still runs fine, then all you need to do is create a shortcut.
Copy the actual exe on the card, then use your file explorer to go to Windows --> Start Menu --> Programs then in there paste a shortcut. If the program doesn't run from the card, then you need to reinstall.
