Re: Tom Tom looks AWESOME on VGA

TomTom does look great but I switched to Garmin. Realtime traffic and no need for having to manually update POI's, it can search the interw3bZ

Re: Tom Tom looks AWESOME on VGA

Does Sprint Nav store maps on the phone or does it download them dynamically like Google?

Re: Tom Tom looks AWESOME on VGA

Garmin looks pretty good as well, same with iGo8.

TomTom's maps aren't very up-to-date in my area, so I can't really use their app unless they update the TeleAtlas maps or get some current Navteq maps.

Re: Tom Tom looks AWESOME on VGA

Sprint TeleNav downloads the maps as you go. I was able to maintain GPS posit and voice navigation even when I am NOT receiving a cell signal.

TeleNav is free if you are on one of Sprint's data everything plan. the log in actually saves your favorites and searches on their server...so if you go to a different phone or re install your telenav, you don't lose your favorites.

Can Sprint Sero's data plan use this for free also?
