BIG PROBLEM...need some help from anyone

I have the Alltel TP and was working with some tweaks for changing the way some of the icons look...didn't like the way it looked so I restored my registry back to the previous backed up registry.

When it rebooted it came asked about a DLL file...then locked up..

Now it locks up and I can't do or press anything. I see Start, Calendar, Contact, etc...but the today screen is black and the touch screen doesn't work at all..nothing works...its just locked up.

How in the world am I suppose to fix this?

Hard Reset, should be in the Owner's Manual.

It says press and hold VOLUME DOWN and ENTER key then press the tip of the stylus on the reset....what does it mean by ENTER key? I've tried holding down enter on the keyboard and the round button.

The large round circle button... Do you have to turn the phone off first by holding the power button?

Ok...somehow most everything is back to working normal....2 things.

1 - Will Clear Storage delete all of my contacts?? What about any registry tweaks I have made?

2 - Everything is back to normal except I don't have any image beside START at the top....and my X close button is gone...function still works, but no icons are there.

I know clear storage resets everything to default, but will it also erase my contacts?

If you did a hard reset, your contact should have already been deleted anyways.

But, to answer the question, clear storage WILL delete them, it is the same thing as a hard reset, just through WinMo.

yes, it will kill everything except mem.card.
