REALLY NICE top loading/vertical cases

1. http://www.htcdepot.com/nutshell-nat.../4A25A3410.htm
  • Pros: Sharp looking, industrial clip (looks strong), form fitting, top quality
  • Cons: clip doesnt rotate (no biggie), price
2. http://www.htcdepot.com/monaco-apex-.../4A25A1518.htm
  • Pros: Price (but uncertain why so cheap, looks like durable exterior, rotating belt clip, looks sporty sleek
  • Cons: does it hold the phone securely?, why so cheap?, good quality?
*i like these two a lot, because they are vertical cases and there is no latch on top that may block my headphone wire.

*has anyone bought these cases?

*what do y'all think?

Can anyone comment on these pouches???? I'm concerned about any pouch being too tight after having the back cover silver paint rubbed off of my TP by a case I bought at Circuit City.

Re: REALLY NICE top loading/vertical cases

I've used the Nutshell case starting with my Treos and all the way through my Mogul. Same one fit all of them. It's a great case. I still use it on occasion for my Touch, but it's a little too large so the phone does have some wiggle room in it. I have the one with the tab closure on the top. Same basic design, just with the tabbed top.

They are snug to start off with, but I can't comment on whether or not it would rub the silver off the TP.

I can't find it on the verizon website....it was sold at verizon store inside Circuit city. A vertical leather case that was made for the LG Vu...I thought it fit nicely when I bought it but it was too much friction when pulling the phone out becasue it was a vertical pouch.

Re: REALLY NICE top loading/vertical cases

Personally, I've never seen anyone use a vertical case for a PDA before, other than a Blackberry...not sure what the benefit for that is.

I use the stock case for now, and am waiting to see if I can force the phone into the Mogul case.

i just like the look of a vertical case better and that you can just pull it out without having to open anything. vertical cases just look better imo, doesnt take as much space on the belt too
