Ah, professional.

We are running WM6.1 Professoinal.

Standard is for non-touchscreen devices.

Re: What's the recommended divx/video player?

Ah that's what I figured, and the one I'm trying. It plays the videos okay, but it's a bit glitchy around the edges, and the interface downright sucks. Especially browsing for files.

It does not. Most DivX files are encoded at SD/HD resolution for TV viewing, so they tend to be too CPU-intensive to play well on WinMo devices.

We recommend transcoding DivX files with tools like Kinoma Producer or HandBrake (which now supports file-based sources) for best results on mobile.

BTW, we're going to be changing the Kinoma FreePlay download page so it doesn't download the app automatically. Also, we'll add options for downloading it directly to your phone via your browser or SMS.

Re: What's the recommended divx/video player?

I use CorePlayer to watch my videos. 640x480 XviDs work perfectly fine on it.
The divx player worked really poorly for me. Most videos would just stop playing under a minute for no reason, sometimes a few seconds. Performance seemed worse than CorePlayer too.
