Fix To The Blue Flicker Problem Core Player Only

ok folks i did not see this posted anywhere, but if it is mod please remove.

ok....anyways, heres how to resolve the blue flicker problem!

open core play

go to menu.....tools......preferences.......click on select page

change the video output from qtv display to directdraw

video quality should be set to high

smooth zoom should be on

and dither should not be checked

hit ok and enjoy.

oh, and if the pic is upside down on the tv make sure you go to options......orientation and click on left-handed

i hope this helps everyone. it sure helped me remember the thanks button=D>

Re: Fix To The Blue Flicker Problem Core Player Only

While it is better than the QTV with the blue flicker, the frame-rate is still noticeably lower than QTV without TV-out. As such, we are still waiting for a real full-speed fix which will most likely require either a firmware update or a new CorePlayer.

Re: Fix To The Blue Flicker Problem Core Player Only

What is Dither, i know where the option is but what does it do, if i leave it on does the quality of the picture increase at the result of lower frame rate due to extra processing?

Got my coreplayer update today and sad to say the blue flicker is still there unless someone knows something I don't?

*SideNote!* I would have thought they fix this problem with this update. I tell you I get better Quality watching videos from my touch pro via thru my xbox 360. Almost dvd like. I'll be doing that until coreplayer issue a fix for this

Re: Fix To The Blue Flicker Problem Core Player Only

The real problem is Qualcomm/HTC do not open their Qtv API.
