Light sensor not working.

Has anyone else had a problem with the light sensor not working. It worked fine for a while and now it is not showing any input. I'm getting this data from G-Lights light sensor read out within it. It used to change with the amount of light but now it is zero all of the time. I have hard reset and looked at it before installing anything except G-Light and it is still zero.

EDIT: I found the problem. I had done an AppToDate update and it updated my G-Light to version 4.3. Once I uninstalled it and re-installed version 4.1 everything is working properly. I left a post on Ageyes thread for him about this problem. It seems like others are having the same issue.

Re: Light sensor not working.

I'm not familiar with this. Is the light sensor that little thing I see in the earphone speaker slot to the left? I haven't seen any utility in the programs to work with it or get any readings, etc. Unless there isn't any or it's somehwere that I haven't looked before. Can you tell me what the normal behaviour of this feature is and what you're noticing?

Re: Light sensor not working.

The light sensor is the little clear plastic piece in with the speaker opening. You can go into Setting, System, Power and then Backlight. From there you can set auto dimming which uses the sensor to change your backlight level depending on the light around you. Or you can download G-Light and set the levels that you want to use.

Hope this helps.
