How to disable startup/shutdown/wifi sounds?

The annoying melodramatic startup/shutdown/wifi connect sounds are...annoying.

But in the Settings/Sounds panel there doesn't look like anything to deactivate them. (Other than turning system volume all the way down, which I don't want to have to do.)

Anyone figure this out?

you have to use the registry editor and then you have to edit the registies to do that its a long process and if you actually mess up you can mess up the phone..

Search for Advance Config. It's a program that allows you to do this.

Well, at least I figured out how to disable the WiFi connect SCREAM without installing anything extra. It actually is available under Settings/Sounds/Notification Tab, under "Wireless Network detected."

Ummm... Why not:

Settings/Sounds/Notifications/Wireless network detected and uncheck the play sound box...

I see you found it, I had misread your posts...
