Screen Sensitivity

I currently own a Sprint Touch and one of the things that drives me crazy about it is the lack of screen responsiveness/sensitivity. How does the Touch Pro compare? Same or a big upgrade?

Thanks.

Re: Screen Sensitivity

It seems like it is slightly more sensitive than the Touch when it comes to using fingers. I must say that its a pain in the butt to calibrate the screen on the Pro and Diamond compared to the Touch (As you have to press almost twice as hard) but that minor issue.

Re: Screen Sensitivity

I am pretty sure that I read somewhere in these forums that the sensitivity is adjustable via registry modification.

Re: Screen Sensitivity

Is there any easy way to adjust the screen sensitivity ? Mine is absolutely horrible .
My touch is much more sensitive . Just tap something and you have it. With the tp you have to bang it or use the stylus. Even difficult with the stylus.
Is if my unit , or are others finding this . I am ready to return the tp if I can't get this better. It seems the tp screen is glass and does not give at all.

Please help . The tp is boxed up in the return kit and UPS was closed today , otherwise it would be on its way back to the ville.

Re: Screen Sensitivity

The Essentials thread has some good documentation on adjusting the sensitivity via registry tweaks... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42730
