disable SIP auto-popup

Hello,

does anyone know how to disable the SIP from automatically popping up any time i click in/focus on a text entry field? i only want it to pop up when i press the little keyboard button.

there is a null keyboard you can install. i know it is available in oem form and I am sure somewhere in cab form.

thanks so much but that's not quite what i meant. i LIKE the popup keyboard, i just want to disable it from automatically popping up on the screen.

like... anything im doing that has boxes to input text, it will automatically pop up. i like the keyboard itself, but i only want it to show/popup when i hit the button, not just automatically popup by itself.

I thought I saw a setting in there, but I use Diamond Tweaks...

In there towards the bottom under 20. Keyboard (SIP) there's an option for Automatic Display (popup). You can disable there.
