I heard that Coreplayer will try to take advantage of the Touch Pro's gpu in future revisions, but until then - video on this device will be a disappointment.
so your using vga resolutions...im using 480x320 upscaled to vga thats what my vids were for my iphone and just kept them at that resolution...maybe thats the difference

Re: Movies on TP

What are y'all using to rip and format your DVD's with? I have a few programs but it's literally been 3 years since I've done any of this (mostly for my PSP)

I also interested in using my Tivo to Go recordings if that's possible?

I installed coreplayer last night and watched an XVID file. It played great. Damn this screen is nice.

Re: Movies on TP

I tested out a Divx movie with the TCMP and it played perfectly but the sound was terrible. With the H.264 movies, I had perfect sound but no video.

What files are you converting movies to?

I use a program called AllToAvi, it is freeware. It works great for the anime files that I download (it is apparent that the author enjoys them too). I convert all video files to xvid as tcpmp plays it great and it converts very quick. Ignore the restrictive mode that it will recomend when using h264 files. It also supports subtitles which is what makes it better than the rest but it is off by default.

TurboFool I use tcpmp on my tp. go here to xda and download cab 3

Netflix Watch Instantly

Is it possible to watch movies over the Netflix Watch Instantly streaming service on the Touch Pro? If so, how is the quality? It would be great to tap into that library of movies to watch instantly without having to store them on the phone's flash memory.

Re: Netflix Watch Instantly

Definitely not possible. It's been highly-specific to Windows until they just released a Mac plug-in for it. But it definitely requires specific web-based plug-ins or a box designed for it.
