Works fine for me as well... but I noticed tho you have to go into the COMM menu and shut down the phone like that, not just holding in the top power button, then proceed with those directions. Even if this isnt the case that way works flawlessly for me each time.

Huh..? Wrong! Where do people come up with this stuff?? I hard reset my Sprint Diamond all of the damn time. Admittedly, I have yet to get a hard reset to work while the phone is on. I have to turn the phone off then hold center pad, volume down and then hold the power button. Still though, it works.

Yeah I didn't refresh the page in a few minutes and it was posted before my post. Regardless, it works, case closed
