Re: Instant Messenging via Wi-Fi

OctroTalk = win

Now all my conversations are logged indefinitely... I love it!

I just wish they were logged in the same gmail area when I use my PC, but the google talk application cannot use AIM or MSN or ICQ.

Supposedly, you can talk to your AIM clients through the gmail chat tab on the gmail web page, but I can't do it from work.

At least it's logging my PHONE conversations, and my other ones are already logged, on whatever system I am sitting at.

I can't tell you the number of times someone has told me something, and I remember it, and they change their mind and pretend like they never said it. Infuriating. I love having proof.

Re: Instant Messenging via Wi-Fi

MAN! OctroTalk disconnects from the AIM server everytime I make a phone call. There is no proxy whatsoever. This might end up being a problem, since we cannot do simultaneous connections.

On the other clients, you have a proxy with some leeway... OZ is the best on that, becuase it stays logged in indefinitely if you want...

Re: Instant Messenging via Wi-Fi

How do you add octrotalk onto your programs list? Everytime i would have to go to it, i have to go to the directory and manually log on.

thanx,

J

Re: Instant Messenging via Wi-Fi

Do you mean, "how do I make OctroTalk start up with Windows?"

because as soon as you install OctroTalk, it shows up in your "Programs" list, no problem.
