USB sync cable question

Hi, I'm new to Windows device. I just got my new Touch Pro. I noticed the USB sync cable is a little different than the regular mini usb cable. My question is can I use the regular mini usb cable to sync and charge the phone? Because I like to keep one at home and one for work. Thanks for your answer.

Yes you can. The strange shape still allows for standard 5-pin USB connectors to work.

My older boxwave mini sync cable will not work to sync via Missing Sync but it will charge. Had to use the included cord for Missing Sync to recognize the phone.
