Re: battery meter with percentages

I just wish I could get the batter indicator to always display in the title bar, it goes away during phone calls or with apps open (basically only see it from withint T3D). First born child for a fix! lol

It returns to the standard Plug icon.

You should try VistaHide. It gives you a 2 pixel line battery meter across the top of the screen in all programs except full screen apps. I don't remember where to get it, but if you do a search for it here I'm sure you will find it. I'm using it. Simple little app and it doesn't get in the way of anything...

i use Batti.. same thing as u describe.. runs along the top of the screen...using it on my touch pro... u can customize all the colors...plays alarms...

http://code.google.com/p/batti/

it glides like knight rider when the phone is charging

here is vistahide:
i am not sure which one is better, batti or vistahide

Re: battery meter with percentages

Yeah, I've tried (and do like) both of those... I am just bugged by things that don't work they way I perceive them to be intended. Personal hangup, I guess, why should the battery vanish so much?

lol... pretty subjective question.

Batti and Vistahide both work well if you're looking for that style of indication.

Ariel works well if you're looking for an indicator you can position manually and even over top another icon.

The one from XDA posted all over these forums works well too.

I bet there are others as well.

So... which color crayon is the best, guys?

Re: battery meter with percentages

I tried batti too, but gave up on it and went back to VistiHide. I loved the added functionality, but it was really flakey on my TP. It would almost always think it was charging when I woke it up, and it was randomly triggering the charging and fully charged sounds. Maybe an update will make it more compatible...

I noticed that on mine also, but I don't have sounds for charging or fully charged, so I guess it didn't bug me. Vistahide is still a really nice one to have.

I have both Batti AND the percentage battery indicator from XDA running. Best of both worlds. I wish the new version of Batti had both the top indicator AND percentage indicator. Oh well.
