Weather update connection error - Page 5

the weather database editor 1.2 over at xda worked well for me and others as i already stated. were you able to add your city in the weather options? because i can and i have 8 cities under my weather and they all update well.

I cant even start the program. I get an error saying: file write protection of database could't removed. I have the Sprint touch pro. What the heck is that?

yeah for some reason the program gives an error when selected but runs and works to update the weather since i put it on my pro i have had no problems. when you scroll over to weather on your pro did you select menu then click on add location?

Yea, I have seen some people with the protrction error but I really cant figure out what they are saying is the fix. Seems like some kind of reg edit will do it? Anyway, I did go to the ad location but my city is is not listed. I did have this program installed on the gsm version of the touch pro and it worked fine and I was able to ad my city thru the editor. Thanks for the help Harlem. Hopefully someone can give me some direction on this. Thanks again.

Use this app and it will fix it? Just install and update your weather. Worked for me on my Pro today.
