Re: Weird Headphone Issue

Maybe time for a good old hard reset.....If that donesn't fix it then it's probably a hardware issue.

Re: Weird Headphone Issue

Yeah... Could be a faulty terminal... I would take it in to the service center before it gets worse.
When mine broke at the port... They tried to tell me I borke it and I had to pay the replacement deductible. Needless to say I didn't. And I got my phone replaced. Took me a while there but it was worth it.

Thought about doing the hard reset but WAY to much stuff loaded (before this happened) to want to reload everything. There's got to be a better answer. <sigh>

The port on the phone works great for everything else (data sync, teathering, etc.). Don't see why this one function not working correctly would be a port problem.

I feel your pain. I used to feel the same way before I caught flash fever. The lure of newer, slicker roms overcomes the dread of reloading everything time and time again. It has made me more selctive about what apps I install, though Maybe part of why I have less issues than I used to.

Good luck

USB audio is handled by specific contacts in the port. So, It could be... But just a guess... I'm not a technitian.
Why don't you do a backup... Hard reset... See if the issue persists...
Then you can always restore your backup. Wether it's on the same phone or onto your new phone... Backups are a must when dealing with smartphones.

Well, just bumping this up to see if anyone else might have a suggestion other than dumping my phone back to clean and starting over again.
Haven't had time to try a backup yet and then see what happens..
Sux working and being busy. ;-\
