Touch Pro Device Emulator?

I need to find a Touch Pro device emulator.

I have upgraded to a TP2, but now, I can not get off some of my data from my TP because I gave it back to sprint. I have a full SPB backup, which always works with my TP exchanges, but now that I have a TP2, I had to use SPB Backup Unpack utility to see my files and copy them over.

The problem now is with SplashID. The data is stored in Object database, and I cant get access to it using the SPB Backup Unpack utility. I am thinking that if I could get a emulator, restore my backup to the emulator, then I could export my SplashID data so that I can re-import it on the TP2. There is a option to export it in the program, but my device upgrade happened fast and I thought I had done everything.

I found a Windows 6.1 emulator here, but it does not seem to be the same as HTC TP emulator.

Does anyone know where I can find a closer TP emulator?

Re: Touch Pro Device Emulator?

Any reason you didn't run the SPB Backup file on your TP2? You should be able to use ROM upgrade mode and restore what you need.

Re: Touch Pro Device Emulator?

I didnt want to risk messing up anything.

I have gotten over all my visible data, using the SPB Backup Unpack utility. I can explore the file and extract what I need. I also did a manual restore using SPB in the phone for all the data files I need.

The problem is that the SplashID data is stored in the Object Database, which is not user accessible. I need to be able to access this somehow. If I could run the SPB backup on a emulator, I could open the program and export my password files, then re-import them.

Re: Touch Pro Device Emulator?

for other reasons, I am also looking for a TP PC emulator. If anyone could help out that would be great. I see youtube videos and such of this type of thing all the time. It can't be too hard to find...
