well, how often do you use the or SMS/MMS buttons on the hard keyboard? you could map that as a tab key also

After seeing more and more of android I've considered making the jump. But the Android HD2 is the Dragon. The Rome is an android version of Touch2. Two different phones.

Yea, I would love if Verizon came out with the HD2. But I'm sure they would have their own version...

I LOOOOVE the TP2 hardware keyboard. I always use it. That really the only reason I wouldn't get an HD2.

I'm glad HTC finally has been ditching the 2.8" screen. Now they seem to be on the right track using the latest hardware.

Re: one minor flaw of tp2

Hey, just a thought I've had that I'd like to share...

Who else thinks it would be a good idea to have cell phones be like many other consumer products (computers, cars, etc..), where you can upgrade options to have all the best? Yea, the TP2 is nice at $600 retail, but wouldn't it be nice to have the snapdragon for a few $ more? and a capacitive, multi-touch screen for a few $ more? And you can add an AMOLED screen too? FM radio option? digital compass? taser option? okay, scratch that last one. But I'd be down for that! A $1,000 superphone FTW!!

Re: one minor flaw of tp2

Amoleds are bit over rated imo... Capacitive would be nice, but from the carriers perspective, I doubt "upgrades" would be beneficial to them when they can already "make us buy the new car" every year or two..

Re: one minor flaw of tp2

i just wish the onscreen keyboard in landscape didnt have the arrows on the right making the actuall letters smaller from left to right, they should have put them on the bottom somehow or doubled it up with som other keys..

Re: one minor flaw of tp2

I agree about the screen size. I'm still blown away by how awesome it is, but the other day I compared it to the iphone's screen & by golly, it is skinnier. Not a bad thing, but now I notice how skinny my screen is all the time :/

Re: one minor flaw of tp2

I would like a better camera. I wish you could build your phone to order like a laptop. It pisses me off that HTC has a 5mp camera and I cant get it in the TP2.
