Error 246 - Tilt 2 (Rhodium)

MDC is at 6.1,

I put the file on the phone and ran it. Now the phone is locked up.

Any suggestions?

Yes, my suggestion is reread the post at XDA before doing anything else. You need a different file for the manual process, which is attached to the post over there.

Here are the notes from there about it:
NOTE 3: anyone having USB problems with the device after it entered SSPL mode, please copy SSPL-Manual-Rhodium.exe from SSPL-Manual-Rhodiumxxx.zip attachment in this post, copy it to the device and run it. then once the screen has gone black, run the Hard-SPL package on the PC and you must select Manual flash option. *important*: make sure that the USB cable is plugged in and device is synced to Windows Mobile even if doing manual method.

Hey, did you ever find a resolution. I'm having the exact same problem as you with a Verizon CDMA TP2 RHOD500 in Windows Vista 32bit with all antivirus disabled. When I run the HardSPL in Auto it crashes the .exe on the computer, when I run HardSPL in Manual, I get the error 246 even though I have an activesync connection with WMDC 6.1. When I copy the Manual program to the phone first and run it, the phone screen freezes and I have to soft reset with the button (or take the battery out). Did you ever find a solution? I also tried another USB cable which didn't help.
