Animated Wallpaper for Manila 2.1?

I've been searching this topic for days, and I really haven't been able to find anything on it. My question is, has anyone been able to port over the animated wallpapers from Manila 2.5? I've heard and am using the animated weather for 2.1, but I haven't been able to find any working animated wallpaper ports.

Does anyone know if these wallpapers are being ported, and if so, where can I get them? Thanks!

You can use any animated .gif picture as the animated wallpaper. If you search for s2u2 animated wallpapers, they are also in .gif file, and you will find them more easily in the right resolution.
Regardless, if you want the original wallpapers, follow this links. There are the moving and the static.

I'm confused I got one of those animated wallpapers but it's not animated. Is there a particular way to set it?

Yeah i think this is peer speculation because I tried a .gif image as my wallpaper and it was a no go...??
