Thumbs down TP@ battery life

Has anyone had any problems with their TP2's battery life. im noticing that i have to charge it twice a day and that's full charge from dead to fully charged. it seems to be my tp2 maybe its running using a lot of juice but it can be a little annoying to have to charge the phone twice a day for atleast four hours to be able to use it. anyone know of the problem or ways to fix it.

Re: TP@ battery life

I noticed using a high quality wallpaper can often drain the battery faster and obviously screen brightness is another factor.

2 times a day is excessive though unless you're absolutely hardcore with videos.

ok i am using stock 6.1 rom i get almost 2 days out of my battery...

try this first.. back up contacts and important files..not system files only data..

1. drain battery completely by using wifi or internet or radio.
2. when completly dead charge for 4 - 5 min only and hard reset your phone . setting/personnel/clear storage/ press 1234
3. let it completly die again
4. full charge until you see green light on your phone. 4 - 6 hours minimum.
now see if your battery last more than 1 day.

this is my set up and i get 2 days out of this,

1. did the above first.
2. change battery pollinterval tweak to 50000 ( search here or google for "Pollinterval Battery")
3. load goodlife tweak
4. load my own hd wallpapers - taskbr - few custom tweaks, and all my apps

i am running stock 6.1 sprint i get 2 days out of my battery before i did this i barely made 8 hours and overnight completly dead.

please report back if this work for you so others people can see if it works.

PS: use thank button if someone try to help you.

Re: TP@ battery life

That sounds strange. I am able to use my phone, txt, surf, and tether for a solid day before the charge get's low.

I recommend looking for a program called LumOs

1. backup file via active sync on your pc like contacts and if you have any data file/pictures. if it is own your sdcard then no need.

2. hard reset settings/allsettings/personnel/clear storage/press 1234.

Wirelessly posted (htc TP2: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Besides all the good advice above, I suggest buying extra batteries. Spend $10 to $15 can make all problems go away. I have 3 batteries and carry 2 every day. I set brightness near max, LCD time out 2 mins, push email and internet, auto update weather and stocks. 1 charge is never enough. 2 full charges always got me covered.
