Quick questions about touch pro 2.

I had Touch Diamond and pro in the past and wanted to know if picture msging and voice mail interface got any better then before.

I'm currently on hero and just love how simple those basic features work.
Do I have to go about and install sprintpicturemail.cab or does it have improved interface?

Thanks for looking and any feedback would be appreciated.

Picmail is much better. They actually use Arcsoft for for the application. You can install the cab file for arcsoft for the TP and Diamond and see for yourself what it will look like on the TP2.

As for the voicemail interface, I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Re: Quick questions about touch pro 2.

I don't think you have seen the pic messaging program in hero.. It's built within the text messaging program so you just attach instead of going to mail tab, sprint pic messaging etc etc. Voicemail just downloads to the phone like instinct does and it's very simple yet convenient.. I am guessing that it's just like tp 1 then.

Re: Quick questions about touch pro 2.

You can "insert" photos from within the messaging app in the TP2. No need to go to an external program. For the voicemail do you mean visual voicemail? What do you mean by download?

Re: Quick questions about touch pro 2.

The stock rom's implementation of picture mail is much better than the pro 1's

Re: Quick questions about touch pro 2.

I see. Sounds like HTC made picture messaging better.
I should be getting my phone around Tuesday so I guess ill experiment some then.

I have Sprint and I am looking to flash into a custom rom.
Any recommendations for fast , flashy rom?
