Annoyed by the Memory issues..

Is it just me or is everyone out there having memory issues with the HTC touch pro 2. I'm running Calkulin's 23506 with 2.5 touchflo and I have to say it is fast and smooth. But after a reboot, I end up with about 60 megs. I installed Opera 10 beta, and several times I get the out of memory message. Perhaps its just me ranting, but when will HTC just put in the freaking 1gig mem and charge me the extra ($60 more for the additional 500megs), I'll pay for it, but stop with these annoying issues.

Is anybody else annoyed by the limmited memory for the htc touch pro 2?
(I know that by wm5 standards, the touch pro 2 has lots of memory)

Yeah, I ran the two cab files and still have memory issues.
I feel like I'm running my old HTC Mogul with the same memory issues.

Re: Annoyed by the Memory issues..

I honestly have never got an OOM error with my TP2. Ran stock and a custom rom from SSK kitchen - back running stock again. Stock runs around 50% - custom ROM ran a bit lower ~40% @ boot.

Re: Annoyed by the Memory issues..

Opera 10 beta takes about 50 megs, so there goes most of it. Opera 10 is sweet, I can't believe I have to stick with older versions because my new phone can't handle the memory demands. Perhaps I'll try a diffrent touchflo, and see if that helps (2.1)

Re: Annoyed by the Memory issues..

I have 120mb free at boot and run Opera 10 with no issue at all. Stock ROM.

My diamond only had 20mb free at boot and it never ran out memory in the whole year running stock ROM(s).

Re: Annoyed by the Memory issues..

Well the issue is the pp and also cache size set in the os. I would use the pp changer and drop the pp to 16mb and it should help greatly. It did for me.

Cheers
