Manual Flashing w/ 8GB card?

This is weird, my 8gb doesn't allow me to flash whereas my 2gb card does.
I formatted my 8gb Card to FAT-32 and only put the RHODIMG.nbh on the card, but it doesn't work when i hit voldown+power+reset. it works perfectly on my 8gb card though... anyone experience this problem?

Re: Manual Flashing w/ 8GB card?

2gb is supported natively by the basic bootloader where as any card greater 2G is supported by the win mobile OS afterwards.

get yourself a 512mb, 1GB, or 2GB for flashing only.

Re: Manual Flashing w/ 8GB card?

I'm not sure what makes my 8gb SD card work. I've had it on my TP for over a year and have never formatted it since. I tried it again and copied Energys RHODIMG.nbh to my card. Turned the phone off and held the Power and Volume down button and it recognized the image.

I don't believe this is the case but the RHODIMG.nbh maybe need to be CAPS? Or maybe you're not holding the power and Vol down at the same time before the phone starts.
