Re: Using Other Carrier TP2 on Verizon
If its possible, which I believe it is not. It would have to be a cdma phone, I don't think the GSM can work on CDMA. But don't hold your breath, because its a pain to even try to get the phone on VZW.
Here is a BIG list of CDMA carriers in N.A. good luck..... http://www.rentcell.com/cdma-info.htm EDIT: Well just going through the list I posted. I noticed its pretty outdated as far as some of the carriers like US WEST is now QWEST and Cricket isn't on there but they are CDMA as well

Re: Using Other Carrier TP2 on Verizon
You may be able to use a Telus or Sprint TP2 on Verizon, but why would you want to? You'd also have to try to get them to add the ESN to their database.

Re: Using Other Carrier TP2 on Verizon
Ok... thats kindof what i was gathering, i am sure i could figure out how to mod it but i really dont feel like spending hours on the phone with verizon. I have a company plan and cant get them to get me a new phone directly so i have to buy one on ebay, and it seems like there is more sprint and t-mobile units out there so they cost a bit less.
Thanks for the help. J |

Re: Using Other Carrier TP2 on Verizon
Verizon TP2's should slowly become more available. They were out of stock (or barely in stock) for a month or so shortly after release, and I don't think Sprint or Telus had any out of stock issues. So, I'd guess now that people can buy them more easily, they'll start showing up more places for sale.
