Overall Black Theme

I was getting tired of the plain old white standard windows color and decided to make most everything black. This works well with WM6.5 and 6.5.3. There's issue with wm6.1 SMS so i don't recommend doing this. Thanks to Pegasus and his Dusk theme I've gotten it to what I like. If you guys are interested, you can do the same. However, not everything is black. You can play around with UITweak and CETuner if you want to change other things. To change back to your original colors, just go to Settings> Today and reselect your current theme. Ofcourse always back up before you change anything.

Note: This should be done after you select the Today theme you want to edit. Selecting another today theme after you do all this will change the colors to that theme.



1. Install UI Tweak.
2. Download, unzip and copy black.sys to SD card.
3. Connect your phone to your PC and run CeTuner Demo to install CeTuner to phone phone.

4. Run UITweak. Go to System Color and launch it. On the bottom left hit "tools" and then click "Import" and select black.sys.
5. Click OK and it will ask if you want to apply changes, then hit OK again. You can reset but not necessary.

6. Open CETuner. In the Theme tab change Mobile Office Background 1 and 2. Change both left and right colors to black. You can only change 3 things at once so when it tells you you've reached your limit go to "tools" and "apply" to save your changes. Then just close CETuner and restart it again. It will allow you to change 3 more times.



7. For WM6.5 also change the "Active Title Text" to white in the GUI tab and also "Dialog Background" to light grey. For WM6.5.3 you can skip these step.



8. To save again hit "Tools" and then "apply". Then reset.


Minor issue I ran into with WM6.5 in Opera. WM6.5.3 Doesn't seem to be affected.




For Dusk Theme download Pegasus Modified Dusk 2.1 or 2.5 depending on your version. Then go to your Today setting and select "Dusk".

EDIT: Doesn't play well with wm6.5.3. It crashes Opera. No known issue with WM6.5 that I ran into however.

your one nice guy bro, 2 thanx from me for taking the time to take ss of all your "how too's" for people. also nice to see you post the dialer skin link for the other member, i wont use this but great to see you share and explain.

Thanks. I really appreciate the feedback. When I get a chance I'll need to clean this up a bit and show more images.
