Sprint PRL mods

on my old phone I used to mod the prl because the phone would not allow data while roaming. the tp2 (sprint) allows data while roaming but only permitts 1x.If we modded the prl for the Sprint tp2 will it allow EVDO/3G? Whats the best way to do this? I'm not looking to change the priority of Sprint vs. Verizon, just want to change the flags in the prl so it will not throttle back to 1x. Where is the prl located? I'm lookin but i cant find it. thanks.

Im not sure that is possible.. i believe the 1x is a radio issue, and SIM card thing. That tells it to roam and use 1x. Because sprint has contracts with verizon to just allow 1x roaming. But if someone knows of a way to prove me wrong, i will be glad to admit im wrong. because evdo/3g while roaming... that f**ucking rocks!!!
