Verizon Rom On Sprint TP2 Question

As everyone knows,if you don't, you know now. Sprint is sim unlocked already but has a firmware that keeps it from using US SIM cards in it while in the U.S. Verizon/Telus one's have a sim code that once inputted in the phone, they are able to use GSM in the U.S.

My question is do you think if I was to put the Verizon TP2 rom on my sprint TP2 will I be able to use GSM Services while in the U.S.?

I would at least wait until the unlocker comes out. Is it worth potentially bricking your device?

The code you speak of isn't some universal code, it's given to you by Verizon after you give them your IMEI number

I'm well aware of that, the reason I brought up is because verizon's TP2 allows you to utilize GSM services while in the U.S. , Hence why I was thinking about putting the verizon rom on the Sprint TP2, which you already know is sim unlocked.

That was a big concern of mine, but is the verizon TP2 a T7380 like the sprint one?
