Texting Problem!!!

Hello Everyone,

I am new to both HTC and the ppcgeeks forum. I have the ATT Tilt 2. My problem I am having right now has to due with text messaging. I can send messages no problem, but cannot receive them. An error message keeps popping up saying "Memory is full, Please delete some messages". Now, I've deleted all the text messages and e-mails on the phone and am still having the same problem. Is there some setting I need to change to get the phone to use my 8GB sd card? Or is there any setting I need to change/setup? Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Texting Problem!!!

Go to settings and then the systems tab, and tap on the memory icon to open. Unless you have a lot of programs running you should be in good shape there. If that's not the case, close running programs and make sure the task manager applet is set to end programs by tapping "x".
Also look at your storage memory, if you have a lot of pictures, music or videos in your documents your memory should be good here also. If not move your items to your memory card. And make a folder in it called My Documents. That makes it easier for some programs to find your pictures & videos easier.

Re: Texting Problem!!!

Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it. I just got off the phone with HTC tech support and I ended up having to perform a hard reset, uggghhh. But oh well, the problem is resolved now. If anyone else knows what was going on here, please reply and let me know what to do if it ever happens again.
