Change Start Menu to Manila or Font Size

Ok, I've searched and either missed this info or cannot find it.

I've dumped TF3D but would like to be able to use just the Manila Start Menu. Is this possible. I'm thinking it's not...... Maybe someone has an alternative.

At the very least is there a way to change the font size. I found a way to change the context menus but have not been able to track down a way for the Start menu.

Thanks.

Re: Change Start Menu to Manila or Font Size

don't expect help from alot here. i am still waiting on some questions. its find it out yourself here lately

small start menu

HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\Enable = 0

HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
EnableManilaStartMenu = 0

(orginal TF3D startmenu) / 0(old WM startmenu)

HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila
Manila://programs.page.hidden = 0

-------------------------------------------

changes the font size in the menus:

Under HKLM\system\gwe\menu\popfnt\Ht\800

--------------------------------------------

Windows mobile menus

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu]
"CUIHandler"=dword:00000000

---------------------------------------------

From everything I can tell those keys only work if you are using TF3D but want to use the standard menu. As I said I'm not using TF3D but would like a launcher style start menu or at least be able to make the font smaller.

The context edit I had already found but it does nothting for the start menu.

I'm not sure why you seem to be down on the help around here. I've found this forum to be a lot of help considering how new the device is.

It's a good thing that you worded that so eloquently, or you might have come off like a douche bag this isn't tech support for a product you purchased, it's a forum, and you take what you can get, and give what you can.

its a place to find information about a product but it seems to many are unwilling to help each other. it used to be a place to help others now it doesnt seem like it is

Re: Change Start Menu to Manila or Font Size

OK, I double checked those keys and you are right. Evidently I wasn't setting them both, only one at a time. Thanks for the help.
