still need help...

I've already asked this question once before but noone answered...

My apologies if I'm missing something obvious.
This is respect to Tsowens custom taskbars...my question keeps getting lost "in the shuffle"

I cant get anything other than a little white box to show up for my signal icon.

Ive tried three different taskbars with the same results. As best as I can tell, I have followed the instructions Tsowen have given. installed sdkcerts cab, battery driver, taskbar .cab...renamed CDMA_RSS file to .bak...copied over new...deleted old etc etc..

Yet I still see no updated signal/data icon?

What in the world am I doing wrong or missing?

I have a Sprint TP2 running 6.1 and Goodthings2life's tweaks .cab

Thanks in advance to any1 that is willing to take the time to answer a noobs question!

I use his original one and have no problems, have u tried it? I'm also on sprint.

at first I had taskbar2
Now I'm using taskbar6v.3 lite

I have had the same problem with both though

you have your sim card installed? if not put it on, it seem that the taskbar see the phone as gsm phone because of the gsm capabilities....

i try installing tsowen taskbars aswell and gave the same thing, but i dont have my sprint sim card,so i took the taskbar off...

I can't believe it was that simple! LOL ..I have been going nuts over this for two stinking weeks now and have asked the same question in numerous forums. You are the first person to actually give me an answer. The THANKS button was hit before I even started typing.

yup, yup..

i'm stuck with the original taskbar, cuz i dont have my sim cards and i dont like the sim card icon on top...

but yea glad i could help...
