Screen Dimmer App for TP2

I hate that the screen is bright and wasting precious juice while not being used. Installed nuebattery app to control the screen turn off settings.
But i have a further requirement.

Looking for an App that can turn off the screen if it hasn't been touched for a minute but not turn off the device. Also dont turn off the screen if a video is being played.

There used to be a screen dimmer app called candle light in Moto Q. wonderful app.

Hope there is an App for my requirement.

One scenario: I use wifirouter to connect to the laptop. So..i really dont need the phone's screen wasting away while i'm working on the laptop, but if i turn off the thing with the switch on the top.. i guess the device sleeps and i get disconnected. I wish there is a way to keep wifi active while device is turned off on a selective basis.

Re: Screen Dimmer App for TP2

Hmm not sure what you mean since you can control how long the tp2 idles before it dims and then turns off. Settings > System > Power
WM and youtube videos shouldn't turn off the backlight.

To keep WiFi on when the backlight/power turns off, use these reg edits:

wifi always on
Code:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Suspend\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\Default
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Resuming\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\Default
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Unattended\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\Default
Set "Default" to 1

Re: Screen Dimmer App for TP2

Is this wifi thing confirmed?

Wish I could find the settings in that area to disable wakeup from signal strength change.

Sorry psycho! I didn't mean to leave your thread/name out. I copied it from a thread I started on here and shaggy was helping me find the same reg edits.

Thanks though!
