MMS problem...

Does anybody have any problems with MMS on Verizon? I think there is something wrong with the ArcSoft program. Everytime I open a new MMS message that somebody sends me, everything works fine. Then, I will close messaging (tmail.exe), just like when after I open or send a text message. When I try to open messaging (tmail.exe) again, it won't open. This happens sometimes after sending an MMS message as well.

Sometimes it will open like 5 minutes later but rarely. I almost always have to soft reset the phone to be able to open messaging again. If anybody has a solution to this, please share. Also, if this happens to anybody else, please post.

This happens on my Verizon Touch Pro 2 even on a hard reset with nothing installed, only the stock ROM.

Re: MMS problem...

You ever fix this? I am having a hell of a time with mms tonight. When I very first got my TP2 it I had mms problems where I kept getting notification of a new mms but it just stays at 0% downloading for like 3-4 minutes and then says it failed. Hard reset and reinstalled everythign and it has been fine ever since.

Now tonight out of the blue it is doing it again. I have 13-14 pix that are supposed to be coming through and one after another they keep failing and popping back up a few minutes later then failing again ( all from an Alltel party ) but I tried sending a couple from one of my other Verizon lines and am getting the same problem

Re: MMS problem...

Nope, still never fixed. I use a temporary fix that I came up with... I use my task manager program to keep tmail open all the time. This way, whenever I open an MMS and close tmail, tmail will still be open in the background and will continue to function properly. It doesn't take too much memory though.

I have had your problem in the past as well. Perhaps it is a server issue with Verizon? I really don't know but this problem happened to me for an entire day and then the next day, everything came through ok and sent ok.
