Volume Control no longer working

My volume UP and DOWN do not work anymore

Is there a certain cab I might have installed that did this? Is there a fix? Am I the only one that is having this problem? Can someone please help?

EDIT: I fixed it. I replaced some files in the windows folder and it started working

I would verify it by removing the battery cover and pressing the actual buttons to see if it's an issue with the battery cover.

If that is not it I would remove any programs you have added recently, perform a soft reset & see if that resolves the issue. If not perform a hard reset...If that fails call VZ

Hope it's just a software issue!

What did you change to fix this?

Something I did remapped the rocker to control up/down scrolling instead of the volume control.

Mine doesnt work during calls unless i touch the speaker icon at the top of the screen. Anyone else have the same issue?

I have a custom task bar so I don't even have that luxury. I think it is one of my startup programs that is doing it, I just can't figure out which one. Because if I hit the rocker right as the today screen comes up it will allow me to control the volume, but once it gets fully booted it starts just scrolling through the options.
