Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

So, I decided to try the new "Working Leo Slider - Update 9-29 - All Tabs Done". And I totally forgot to uninstall the one I had from CYMXLGO that uses the manila 2.5 adn makes the bar transparent and such, as well as the blue theme he made. Anyway, I installed the Leo Slider and when it rebooted it looked like junk, the transparent was gone and such. So I said to myself, self, forget it. So I got it all back like it was before, well now my Touch Input keyboard now only shows the Phonepad Keys, even though the Full QWERTY is selected. So does anyone know what went wrong and how to fix it without hard resetting? If not guess that is what I will do. Thanks.

Re: Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

well this did not show up in my search

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=87851

but I think this might be what I was looking for. Going to uninstall the TP2 cleanup and Tweaks and see what happens.

Re: Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

You prolly just didn't totally remove the new one you tried to install. Maybe try a seperate uninstaller app. You may need to remove any remnants left in the registry. Or you could always hard reset.

Re: Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

try the following...Start, Settings, (All Settings) Personal, Input, Touch Input, "Options". Uncheck "Turn on Symbol Lock"

See if that works.

Re: Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

Well the problem is back for me and only seems to happen if I am entering a new Calendar entry and go to notes to input a phone number. I have tried all the registry mods and the only thing that works is re-installing the tweaks cab...This is getting extremely frustrating!

Re: Touch Keyboard is Foobar'd

Just answered this same issue for another user in another thread, and he happened to mentioned the same problem was being reported in this thread. So I thought I'd post the same fix....

Try the attached and soft reset afterwards.

EDIT: Removed "Classic Word Completion" cab in favour of the attached FixStuckTP2Keyboard cab. Also, changed cab to GoodThings2Life's et9ime settings instead of my windowset9ime settings.
